Plastic Composite
Steel Door products include 20, 18 and 16 gauge lockseam with honeycomb, polystyrene and temperature rise cores. Embossed 6-panel polystyrene insulated doors in 20 or 18 gauge. Also offered are steel stiffened doors with lockseam construction in 20, 18 and 16 gauge. Doors with welded-in steel stiffeners and continuously welded edges are available in 16 and 14 gauge. Manufactured with rust resistant galvaneal steel, doors are available in 20 gauge, 18 gauge and 16 gauge. All doors are constructed to meet the most rigid architectural demands.
Honeycomb
Deigned for interior and standard duty utilization. Made with high density honeycomb core, laminated under pressure along with interlocking lockseam edges which ensure durability.
Insulated
Designed For Exterior use with high thermal qualities. Assembled with solid slabs of polystyrene or polyurethane bonded permanently to the inside of the skin providing a R6 or R12 thermal factor and sound deadening qualities. This type offers security and flexibility in the most adverse conditions.
Steek Stiffened
Extra heavy duty door recommended for very high frequency utilization. Constructed with heavy gauge vertical steel stiffeners at 6" on center complete with polystyrene or fiberglass.
Steel Stiffened Weldedseam
Designed fir high security for use in extreme conditions. Manufactured with interlocking steel stiffeners, spot welded on both faces at 6" o.c. Edge seams are continuously welded for maximum strength and ground smooth. All voids filled with fiberglass insulation.
Specifications
• All doors are manufactured with integral closer reinforcing box and end channels (standard for all doors)
• All doors are prepared for 1½ pairs of standard weight 4½" hinges (High frequency hinge reinforcement standard)
• All doors offer a standard preparation for cylindrical (161) 2¾" back-set or rim panic reinforcement (push/pull)
• All doors are made with mechanically interlocking seams
• All doors are available with optional steel or vinyl top caps for exterior applications
