Fully Expandable & Reversible
Over 3" of expansion fits any wall thickness from
4-1/2" to 7-5/8". Stocking is simplified and many
installation costs are eliminated. No handling is
required.

One-Piece Design
Side Jambs and header are each of one piece. No
need to choose various extension sections. No
loose pieces to lose or damage.

Strength
The strength of 18 g. steel and the safety of
90 minute fire rating for both single and double
door units.

Long Life
The long term protection of hot-dipped galvanized
steel: an exellent base for the finish of your
choice.

Fire Rating: 90 minute (W.H.I.) for single and
double openings

Maching: prepared for 3 x 4'1/2 screw-on butts
and single 2-3/4" T-strike for self tapping screws.
ANSI 4-7/8" prep. available as option. Deadlock
strike and closer or panic reinforcing optional.

Finish: hot dipped galvanized 18 g steel.

Anchoring System: 14 x 2-1/2" #8 drywall screws

Rough openings: door width plus 1-3/4", door
height plus 2" from finished floor


This frame combines perfectly with metal or wood doors in single or double openings rated from 20-90 minutes.

Insulated steel fire door with polyurethane cores with a fire rating up to 90 minutes.

This frame is also adaptable between wood and steel studs and works great in home or commercial applications.

There is a wide variety of designs available, from the stand flat industrial/commercial models to the beautiful embossed decorative doors that would enhance any entrance way.

For doors that require special air circulation for either heating or cooling, we offer a variety of louver openings, both top and buttom.

Window kits can be installed by W.S.I. and you can have any size or shape you desire. All it takes is a phone call. Ask for details.

INNER CORE CONSTRUCTION
You have a choice of five different inner cores.

		STANDARD HONEYCOMB CORE - Rigid and impact resistant. - 1" honeycomb cell paper construction has sanded edges. - Resin impregnated. - R Factor: 2.4 - STC 20 in (sound transmission) 20 gauge material. - Flat or 6 panel surface.

		POLYURETHANE CORE - 1-3/4" polyurethane composite construction. - All reinforcing boxes contain polyurethange. - Exellent insulating characteristics. - R factor: 12.0 - STC 26 in 20 guage material.

		TEMPERATURE-RISE CORE - Solid mineral-fibre core slab provides maximum protection up to 250C. - Exceeds current NFPA-80 recommendations. - Ideal for stairwells and installations adjacent to fire-walls.

		POLYSTYRENE CORE - 1-3/4" polystyrene composite construction. - All reinforcing boxes contain polystyrene. - R factor: 7.0 - STC 26 in 20 guage material.

		STEEL-STIFFENED CORE - 20 guage vertical steel stiffeners are welded or laminated to door skin at 6" centres. -Fibreglass insulation provides exellent sound-deadening. - Fore extra heavy-duty requirements, door edges can be tack-welded, filled and ground smooth.
